Tribute to Uncle Philip

One of Reece's uncles goes to Harvard, and we just wanted to let him know that we are thinking of him and Reece is so excited to see him again. Even though she doesn't get to see him and some of her other aunts, we talk to her about them and we know she will love being with them next time they're here.
They say drooling on your shirt is a sign of intelligence...right? Surely she is on her way to Harvard! And notice how well Reece is sitting up! She really gets her feelings hurt, though, if she falls backwards.
Reece had her first experience at the park the other day. I'm not sure if she enjoyed the swinging (maybe she has her mother's motion sickness problem).
But, I'm pretty sure she enjoyed the slide with her daddy! I think she is smiling in this picture.

On another note, a lot of people ask me what is Reece like, or what kind of personality does she have. To answer this question, I would say she is definitely laid back. With her mom working part-time, she never really has the same schedule from day to day, and I think she handles it pretty well. Not that she is thrilled to be away from her mom and dad, but she usually adjusts. She has a great sense of humor. She laughs a lot and smiles all day. She particularly finds her dog Culby very funny. Whether he is running around the house or rolling around on the floor, he always cracks her up. Daniel says she is a little stubborn because sometimes she doesn't easily go to sleep. And, she usually tolerates being with other people pretty well, but she is by far and mommy/daddy's girl!!

Silly Girl

Reece really loves it when we blow in her hair. She just thinks it's the funniest thing!
One day I'm going to have to hair-spray it up like that!
Reece in our flower garden. We are having beautiful weather here. I feel guilty if I keep her inside all day. By the way, she is sitting up on her own now! I'm amazed everyday at how fast she is growing. It seems that she started sitting up all the time all in one day!

Fun Fourth Month

Reece had a really exciting fourth month. She enjoyed spending time with her cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We are so thankful to live near family so they can watch Reece grow up! Reece also has so many friends that she got to spend time with. She continues to be a delight to everyone, especially her mom and dad!
